A001 is the template for the Asian area.
M001 is the template for the Mountain area.
T001 is the template for the Tropical area.
V001 contains your Vacationies.

Taking Care of A001, M001, and T001

Go into a neighborhood template folder. For the sake of the tutorial, we'll start with the Asian section.

Make a backup of A001_Neighborhood.package. Then open it.

Select Sim Description on the left menu. Once the characters load, delete anything with a proper name. Leave the Witch Doctor, the Unknowns, and anything with [NPC] in front of the name.

Save the file.

Now go into the Characters subfolder. Back them up. (I put them into a zip archive.) Get rid of the originals.

Do the same for M001 and T001.

This will take care of your vacation spot templates.

Cleaning Out V001

Now for the pesky V001 folder: back up, then load V001_Neighborhood.package. Click Sim Description. Again, delete anything with a proper name. Also delete the Unsavory Charlatans and the Ninjas.

Go to the V001\Characters folder. Back up the files. Get rid of the originals.
