(September 6, 2007) - from Regina
A few months back I stumbled across a website with some of the most fascinating things I have seen in a long while. It didn't take me long to e-mail the creator of these fabulous graphics seeking permission to use them for TS2 textures. The owner of the site seems like an awfully nice guy and granted his permission for use of the images. I think they're absolutely stunning, but you can judge that for yourselves with this sample and find the rest of them here. (Thank you, Paul!)

The first in a series of bathroom textures I'd like to complete has been uploaded! Several months ago I realized that if I had the right textures for game mesh plumbing fixtures I wouldn't need but a few custom mesh bathroom sets and I also started thinking about how frustrating it is to have plumbing sets that I really like but there's usually no way I can improve to nicer (more comfy and more expensive) fixtures without redoing the entire bathroom. Each set includes enough textures to be able to start with an inexpensive bathroom and move up as your Sims can afford, thus they're completely upgradeable. Optional walls and floors are also included. (These preview images don't show everything included for each set.)

It must be a good week for "back burner" projects because today I managed to finish another! This one's been in my to-do queue for a year-and-a-half and I almost forgot it! I was having trouble getting the right color depth on the textures but thanks to a few tips from Syera I've managed to finish it. This is a set of expensive appliance textures in a beautiful copper color! It can be found in my Buy>Kitchens area.

It's shiny. It comes in multiple colors. And it REALLY LIGHTS UP!

New textures for Chrissy's nesting doll meshes!

A new clothes rack for Seasons. Silly EA, giving us only one clothing rack that only looks good with half our houses... :P
The coat and hat use the same textures as the original coat rack. Hence, Regina's coat/hat recolors will work with this.

(10 August, 2007) - From Regina -
New textures for the Seasons coat rack (5 for the rack, 8 for the clothing), including a transparent "clothing" texture for an "empty" coat rack. The textures for the racks are separate from the coat and hat textures. (Many thanks go to Mike19 for the excellent tutorial at MTS2 on creating transparent textures.)

(August 1st, 2007) - from Syera - a couple of new decorative bottles, plus two new textures for Jeannie's bottle.

Also, Patricia over at Lucky Sims2 made default replacement eyes for pets that match the ones I made for our human Sims. Thanks for saving me the work, Patricia. :D

(27 July, 2007) - From Regina - I've been wanting to flesh out my clothing section for a long time so that seemed like a good update for today. Here are seven tops for teen boys (the most neglected group in TS2 as far as clothing goes!)

(24 July, 2007)
It's been so long since we've been able to update and we're really sorry about that. Sometimes things just happen and this has been one of those times. We do have some content in the works, which we'll release shortly.

The Freesite Link Archive has been updated with over two dozen sites today! I'm thrilled to have been able to include some sites which were previously pay which have since become free! We've also added a Featured Sites area where about once a month we'll choose a handful of sites to highlight. You'll find those in the top left-hand corner.

I still have a couple of other wrinkles in the site I need to get ironed out so I'll be working on those as well. Thanks so much for checking back and for your patience!

(July 1, 2007) - From Syera - Having become slightly more proficient in meshing, I've made a few shiny new objects, all of which consist of useless clutter to stuff your Sim-houses with or to sell in your OFB shops.

(27 June, 2007)
From Regina: Six new pointy-eared sims and four new outfits for toddlers (preview image follows)!

(15-16 June, 2007) Here we are (finally!) with Bog Sims' very own domain and new web host. We've plenty of new shinies for download including some awesome new mesh objects by Syera! I'll try to create a bit of a run-down:

  • From Syera: New meshes (these are just sweet), including a decorative bottle styled after the original Jim Beam decanter used in the series, "I Dream of Jeannie." You should notice a new section under Buy for meshes, which is where you'll find them. New textures are in our respective sections.

  • From Janette: In between planting garden, Janette managed some spiffy new swimwear for the guys and a cute little heart-patterned swimsuit for the ladies.

  • From Regina: A new Seaside theme including a beach house and several goodies to make it look pretty; walls and floors for starter or modern homes; and the first of my art glass textures for deco objects (including one of Syera's bottle meshes). The Tricou family from Nightlife's Downtown is also available for download.
